New Points of Views

Just as announced we accepted the invitation of COOP ARVORE in Porto to present our works in the spacious and beautiful location.

Participants there: Claudia Fallosch, Renée Pilecky, Heike Willmaser, Wolfgang Horwath, Peter Florian, Anton S. Frick, Igor Skalé and Gerhard Pilz.

Welcomed by Sra Laura Soutinho and led through the workshop – ceramics, lithography, photography, graphics and paintings -.

The boxes with the works of art arrived late, so everyone had to speed up. With the help of experienced people the exhibition was arranged within a day.

The exhibition was opened by Eng. Amandio Secca (president of the cooperative).

Many locals as well as tourists had a look at the exhibition, the feedback was very good.

In our opinion Austria, Styria and Graz had been well represented by means of this exhibition.

Alles fließt
Der Titel zur Ausstellung im WEBERHAUS in Weiz/Oststeiermark

Annual gift 2008 for supporting members

Again an artist out of our group, Peter FLORIAN - see members - created a small sculpture for supporting members paying the increased membership fee of 150 Euro or more.

The "Steirisches Lustapferl" ( "Small Styrian Lust Apple" ) was produced by the art foundery LODERER in Mühldorf/Feldbach.

We hope our supporting members enjoy this year's gift as much as the previous works of other artist members.

The annual gift 2007 is ready for distribution to supporting members !
Our members Claudia Fallosch, Peter Florian, Wolfgang Horwath, Igor Skalé and Gerhard Pilz dedicated graphics and paintings.
This year members having paid the increased memebrship fee of 150 Euro will get a small bronze sculpture, the "Krautball" ( "Cabbage ball" ) from Anton S. Frick.

The "Krautball" was built out of  sediments of the Koppentraun. This area had been protected by locals, imigrants, fishermen, artists..........from becoming part of a power plant and thereby saved as a nature resort.

Members of our art club will be invited to an exhibition at the art cooperatives place in September 2009.
